Some Favorite Links, Sites, and Pages

Below you will find links to some websites I have found helpful along with a brief description. I hope you find them helpful as well.

Gilbert and John Lennox

Gilbert and John Lennox are quite possibly the coolest set of brothers that I know. John is a professor of mathematics at Oxford University and also travels the world preaching and teaching the gospel. He has debated many famous atheists such as Richard Dawkins, Christopher Hitchens, and Peter Singer. Gilbert, his brother, has been a schoolteacher, leader of a church, and is an amazing Bible teacher. Gilbert also loves photography and posts many beautiful photographs on his personal site.

You can find Gilbert’s and John’s website with some of their teaching HERE.

You can find Gilbert’s photography website HERE.

The Bible Project

Far too often people read the Bible much as one would a fortune-cookie without really understanding how each passage fits into the big picture. This is a site that can be a good resource for people wanting to understand a larger context of the scripture. It includes a number of videos that provide an overview of books and sections of the Bible. They also provide a decent reading plan to help get you through the Bible in a year.

You can find The Bible Project’s website HERE.

The Sermons of G. Campbell Morgan

I’ve posted some sermons from G. Campbell Morgan and hopefully will post a few more. If you would like to access his sermons directly and search for various topics, you can find the compendium of his sermons HERE.

Some Very Good Blogs

Here are a few blogs from my favorite former professors at Talbot Seminary:

Dr. Ken Way – An excellent Old Testament professor with great insights.

Dr. Rob Price – One of the few people I know who can breath life into the study of Systematic Theology!

Dr. Scott Rae – A wonderful philosophy professor who embodies what it means to speak the truth in love.

Even though I don’t like truck-stops or sushi, let alone sushi found in a truck-stop, you can find a blog title TruckstopSushi HERE. It is a blog from my college roommate and good friend Robert Cochrane.
