Psalm 19: God’s Voice

Deep down within my soul there lies
A nature full of darkened sin,
Yet naught is hidden from your eyes
Your holy eyes pierce deep within.

And from within me there flows out
My words and actions that betray
The inner man without a doubt
Through everything I do and say.

The meditations of my heart
And words that fall from off my tongue
I hope that both of these take part
In wisdom and the truth you’ve sung.

You’ve sung your love in deepest space
That only silent heart can know,
Then holy words you gave our race
Your inner thoughts through them you show.

The holy words to man you gave
Should help the words I speak be true
And in my heart should also pave
A road of thought that pleases you.

I’m with Leroy! I love that last stanza…it says so much…and that’s the truth!

    Amen. That’s the truth.
